'Kisne bola India ko No.1?: Surya Kumar Yadav's befitting reply to Team India's favourite tag

Surya Kumar Yadav said, "If your preparation is complete then your confidence automatically increases. We are playing a match in T-20 format after a long time. However, we came here three-four days ago for this. Our preparation is complete."

Asia Cup 2025: The much-awaited tournament Asia Cup 2025 is scheduled to commence with the match between Afghanistan and Hong Kong in Abu Dhabi this evening. In the tournament being held from September 9 and 28, as many as eight teams will be seen competing fiercely for the title. Ahead of the tournament, a press conference of the captains of all the teams was held. During the press conference, the Pak captain was asked about India being a strong contender in this tournament. After which the Pakistani captain gave a shocking reply. 

Surya Kumar Yadav's Response

During the press conference, when the journalist asked Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav that the Indian team is considered a strong contender to win the title, will there be any pressure on him. Responding to this, Suryakumar Yadav jokingly said, "Who said that the Indian team is a strong contender for the Asia Cup? I did not hear it." 

He further added, "If your preparation is complete then your confidence automatically increases. We are playing a match in T-20 format after a long time. However, we came here three-four days ago for this. Our preparation is complete." 

Salman Ali Agha's Response

Replying to the same question, Pakistani captain Salman Ali Agha, said, " In T20 format, no team can be a favorite and you need to play good cricket on that day." 

It is to be noted that the Pakistani team recently won the title by defeating Afghanistan in the final match of the tri-series played between UAE and Afghanistan.
